How do I answer these job application questions?

• This is my first real job other than my mowing job. I want to work at the local supermarket to be a bagger or stocking shelves. I don't know how to answer these questions on the application. What was the best job you ever had? What made it so special? What interests do you have outside of work that complements your job skills? Idk what to say I play video games.

Can you do the job? 2. Do you want the job? 3. Do I want to work with you? So, let's look at few examples. That you play video games probably doesn't factor in. "What was the best job you ever had?" -- they are probably wondering if you are capable of liking (wanting) a job, question #2. So talk about what you loved about mowing lawns. Or take something else that wasn't a job but still was an accomplishment, and talk about what you loved about that. (Hint: they are looking for energy & enthusiasm.) What interests do you have outside of work -- come up with anything you enjoy that would make you a better bagger/stocker. "I enjoy helping my uncle fix cars. He shows me how to do stuff and I keep his shop clean -- I like organizing stuff." Good luck!
