How do I become a physician assistant?

I want to become a physician assistant, but don't know if to become a medical assistant, paramedic?

    You don't have to become a Paramedic. Just do the EMT class and get whatever hours of patient contact are required for the PA program. The PA program is long (6+ years) and even doing just the few months it takes to be a Paramedic would be a waste of time. Some Paramedic programs also want you to work as an EMT for 1 - 2 years before getting into the program. That would further delay your goals and not really be of much benefit to you.
