• Ok, so im thinking about planning a career in either marketing or advertising. I want to know from someone who is in these careers whats their day to day life in the office? Hows the pay? I heard the creative members in advertising get paid $27/hourly. Do your jobs let you travel? Is marketing creative and have new daily tasks or the same mind melting dullness?

  Hi Terrel, Ok, first off if your talking about college educated marketing & advertising...$27 an hr. in an office firm would be a career high. Starting out your probably looking at about $12 - $15 per hr. Then it depends on what type of marketing (online, phone sales, door to door product promotion). You can make more with commission sales vs. hourly. Sounds like your a free spirit like me(can't stand office settings) Look at opportunities that will allow you to work at home, this solved all my problems.
