I'm going camping, but it's only Spring here?
-
I'm going camping in England (Brighton area) and I'm worried that I'm going to get too cold. Although the sun has been shining and the days have been warm to an extent, I doubt it's warm during the night.... I'm just wondering if there are any tips that you could give me to help me keep warm? What should I wear, what type of sleeping bag should I bring, what type of food should I bring, those sorts of things! I've only ever been camping in Summer and it was still cold then but it was manageablee!

In the mountains, it is only winter. Actually, it is winter most of the year in the tundra. When I am camping in the snow, I use a 0 degree Fahrenheit down sleeping bag, filled with hot water bottles before bed. I am sleeping on an insulated sleeping mat that is about six centimeters thick. I also wear heavy fleece from my head to my feet as well as my down jacket when needed.
