How to get people to join a group on DeviantART?

  • I created a group on deviantart for people who are trying to find people to hire them as freelance artists/writers/designers/etc. but it's been two weeks and nothing has happened except 24 pageviews and 3 watchers and 3 members (myself included in that). The group is called Deviants-For-Hire, and I've even made a contest and put it in the contest forum and no one is entering, or even just watching the group. I need help to get watchers and members and also more pageviews. Please help me!!

    Affiliate MANY groups you can find that relates to the meaning of it. Draw something that would really catch people's attention that brings over to the group's purposes. Get involved with several chatrooms relating to the group of yours. If you had points or money, (or do a collab) from someone to draw for the club to bring out the attention. You can even find people who'd do it for free. Just ask to see if they could do it. Keep in mind, it's only been two weeks and it's going to take time to build up pageviews and watchers and members. It will grow in time at least in a few months. You just have to keep giving more effort each day or week. You have to keep spreading the words around more and more so everyone can spread it around themselves.

The contest was an excellent idea, now you have to reach out to the devoted artists u would like to capture. Reaching out to your artist can come in a number of ways.
