No. There is literally no reason to believe anyone has had or could have mind powers. Everyone who has ever claimed any sort of psychic capacity, and who has been tested in lab conditions, has failed to provide any evidence to back up their claims. It goes back to the whole "why don't psychics win the lottery?" idea. There's no reason to believe it. And, to head this off because I know it'll come up, the idea that we only use 10% of our brains is utterly, unequivocally, completely and without question, false. We use all of our brains, as anyone who has ever looked an an MRI scan can tell you. We just don't use every part at the same time as different areas are used for different things (physical movement, memory, color recognition, logic, etc)

Taking someone's "word" is not proof. Anecdotes and stories are not evidence. There is a million dollars waiting for the first person that can simple prove such a claim. This has been offered for over twelve years and it's not won yet. So until somebody gets the million, there is no such people. Only liars that say so. Edit: The brain works on chemical reactions not electric. That is why so many things can alter it. Too much or too little oxygen, drugs, foods, lack of sleep, and others effect the brain's functions. Why do you think chocolate puts people in a good mood? Even just thinking about it does the trick.

Now this may not be a supernatural mind power, however my wife can see the aura of living things. She can see where there is pain and can actually then proceed from there. My understanding of this is that all living things produce, as I stated before, electrical impulses and though all humans may not have this some due to differences in genetics. Again this may not be a "power," but it does have to do with the mind. In my mind it would make sense that this is possible because her body can pick up on the electrical impulses that other living things produce and then translates it into a visual. The other type of thing that can do this is Kirlian photography. In my mind it is possible that a human could be sensitive enough to pick up on these "cues" so to speak. I am not well studied in this matter, but I thought maybe my experience could help. Sorry if not.

Yes there is such a thing as mind power. Some people are born with it and some gain it with training. Its not just like "OH Mind Power, thats sounds Sick! let me try it ones i bet i can do anything!", no, its different, you have to train it.
