Severe abdominal pain after Detox?

Using suboxene during detox of pain killers?

  • Everyone Hi, I am looking for some advice as to how to properly use suboxene during pain killer withdrawal,I been using painkillers non stop for 8 months (doesn't seem long but trust me its been hell) I've tried to go cold turkey and its just not an option for me because I work everyday and have kids to raise. My question is,will suboxene really get. Rid of the pain killer withdrawals or just set my brain back to using. I'm only planning on doing suboxene as short as possible to ease the withdrawals. I would greatly appreciate if anyone has done this before and could share there stories thank you

First of all I would advise you to see a doctor to have the suboxene use explained. Your medical insurance may cover this. If you cannot do that I can tell you from experience that you have to wait until you are starting to withdraw until you start suboxene. Also it will not give you the high feeling you are used to so you are going to have to tough that part out. Suboxone will help the physical withdrawal symptoms though. It will not set your brain back to using so you don't have to worry about that. I have had some success in the past with trammadol as far as helping to wean off opiates. Have you tried dosing yourself down? Not saying it is better over suboxone but sometimes that can be successful. I have a chronic pain condition and have gotten myself off opiates several times but yes, it is hell. Take a look at some of the websites out there for addicts, not saying you are one but there is so much information out there that helps. . There are many people who have been through this and can help. If you can plan a vacation weekend off work as well as someone to take care of the children it will help. The first 3 to 4 days are going to be the hardest then it tapers off. Anti-anxiety medication is also helpful but be sure you check your drug interactions at drugs.com. Again, I urge you to see a physician if at all possible before your start the detox. Good Luck.

first I would start by spelling it correctly and that goes for the"best answer"..lol. It is Suboxone. Best results is start at lowest amount once in withdrawals, create 7-10 day taper to about ,25mg a day. then stop. withdrawals will be minimal but cravings will be intense and your mind will be where the battle is going take place. you really have to be committed, it will be hard for about a month and then decrease...stay away from drug friends
