Why doesn't yahoo let me check my email?

I purchased an pandigital novel ereader. And I can't get it to let me into my yahoo email. I keep getting user?

name or password is incorrect. my username and password work just fine on google on the same product. I can also get to my yahoo email using the same username and password on my pc or my laptop. Just can't on this e reader. I can go to the yahoo home page on the e reader but when I want to check my email I cant. It also won't let me set up my yahoo email account . Thank you for any help you can give me
