How do you scan with the Epson stylus nx400?

How can i scan on my epson all-in-one stylus nx400?

  • i just got it and i looked it up,it was discontinued and it works but it keeps asking me to replace the ink but all i wanted to do is to scan something but it wouldn't let me do anything until i replace them,how can i just scan something without replacing the ink. and heres the link to the printer http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?oid=63075469

    Some printers are feisty and don't want to do anything until you feed them (replace the ink). Look under "Settings" or "Options" for an ability to not remind you to replace the link. Or just click "remind me later", or "ignore". If it still won't continue, you'll just have to replace the ink, or get a new printer. If the printer has that function built in and it won't let you bypass it, you can't bypass it.

that is a safety feature. the printer is trying to protect itself from people like you who won't take care of a problem unless they are forced to. the longer you put off getting ink, the greater the chance you will destroy the printer. read this: http://www.ccs-digital.com/caring-for-epson-printers.asp

i have a similar problem. but there should be a program that says EPSON Scan Good Luck
