How do I get my microphone to work on my dell laptop?

I downloaded voice search on google chrome on my dell inspiron n5110 laptop but can't get it to work?

  • i got a voice search on my xperia play moblie phone i say the word or what i what to find on google and it finds it for me but i want it on my laptop to my laptop is a dell inspiron n5110 so i download it on my laptop but i can't get it to work i looked at my settings and the volume the volume all the way up on my laptop but i can't work out how to get my mic to work on voice search my mic works when i talk to people on skype or when i go on webcam it just don't work when i use voice search

    I have also the same model like yours. First download the voice in C memory. And ensure that your microphone is completely working. You just have to pronounce the words clearfully so that ur laptop recognizes it. If it then did not work consult your local shop from where u have purchased the laptop.
