This does not sound good. Could be a couple of things: 1 - a virus has corrupted the start up files on the hard drive or 2 - the hard drive has failed. You could try to repair the operating system if you have the operating system CD/DVD. If you do not have the disc, you can use the back up discs you should have made when you purchased the computer. If you have no disks; then you can do a factory restore the partition on the hard drive if the hard has not failed. A factory restore will wipe your computer to the day you bought it. 1) Hold down the power button for ten seconds to switch off your machine Please note: Holding down the power button on the machine forces it to switch off. Any unsaved data will be lost. 2) Press and hold the zero key and at the same time, tap the power button once to switch on your notebook 3) When the machine starts beeping, release the zero key 4) When prompted by the warning screen, select Yes to continue with the system recovery 5) Select Recovery of Factory Default Software and click Next 6) Select Recover to out-of-box state and Click Next again 7) Click Next to Start the recovery

The BSOD means the operating system has corrupt system files you need to use the recovery disc to do a system repair or use the built in system recovery to reinstall the operating system putting it back to factory. Post the complete model number and installed operating system when asking a question since all Toshiba laptops are not the same.

There appears to be a major problem with your OS or with your hard disk. There is no quick fix. Try a "startup repair" - google it Or look for a good local computer technician who can help you.
