How to change a passport in Philippine Embassy in Chicago?

Pakistani Manual Passport (Handwritten) and Terminal Change on Dubai Airport?

  • I renewed my Machine Readable Passport few days ago and Pakistan embassy issued me Manual Passport. I've booked ticket from Stockholm - Dubai(Norwegian Airline) - Karachi Pakistan(FlyDubai Airline).There's a terminal change at Dubai Airport (From Terminal 1 to Terminal 2).Although i have paid terminal transfer fee to Marhaba (Dnata Service) But someone told me that i shall face problem during terminal change if i shall travel on manual passport (handwritten)to Dubai, Is it True????. I don't want transit, I only want to change terminal to catch my next flight to Pakistan. Please share your experience with me............Regard

    About the possibility of transfer with handwritten passport , you should ask the airline. But as Dutch said you cannot enter UAE (pass immigration) with such a passport. But normally you can transfer/transit with-in Dubai airport terminals without needing a transit visa, as T1 & 3 are interconnected, & there is a 24-hour inter-terminal shuttle bus for airside transfers between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. But better confirm it with the airline you booked the ticket with , as these things could change without notice. If you wish to ask DNATA directly , their website is dnatatravel.com

Terminal change from 2 to 1, yes. If you stay inside the transit zone, you'll not pass customs control. If you're going through customs then you probably have a problem, because the UAE authorities DON'T accept a hand written passport.
