Would it be possible to Grip Tape a snowboard?

Will grip tape leave residue or rip?

• i am looking for grip tape to heavy grippers http://www.heavygrips.com/en/p16909260.html as you can see the handle (top right of homw page) are aluminum and kind of rough and is peeling of my skin in my right hand so i am looking for some tape to cover the handle so it will be a smooth surface with little bit of grip i would use regualr tape but the depth of the texture is too up and down (when zoomed in) that the tape is ripping in the design of the groves with the 150psi grip and i am trying to get up to 350 and the skin peeling of is making the fingers bleed so what kind of grip tape would be recommended for this purpose

  Surprisingly... vet wrap, which they use for horses, is quite grippy and its cheap! It comes in a variety of colors. Honestly it has so many uses. I use it for my horse, but my friend that does bars puts that stuff on the bar to practice and she loves it!
