Why did you want to become and EMT?

Get to wear a uniform. Get to play with the lights and siren. Get to scream at idiots who don't move fast enough out of my way. Get to drive real fast and ignor traffic laws. Get to demand free food at restaurants. Get to use my ID badge to get out of speeding tickets or put the dumbass cop's name on the internet if he doesn't let me off. Get to tell everyone I am just like a doctor. Get to tell nurses what idiots they are. Get to tell everyone I am in med(ic) school. Get to touch young naked women and do a real thorough exam. Get to put emergency lighting on my POV and make people get out of my way when I am in a hurry. Get to legally abuse scumbag patients with painful procedures. Get to brag about how many lives I save everyday on and off the job.

The town I lived in was just getting a ambulance and needed people to man it, I was already an LPN so thought I had a little knowledge already and the classes were free if we signed up to be on the ambulance squad for a couple years...
