Symptoms of HIV? Or paranoia?
-
I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend (who had no symptoms), about 3 months ago, now... she was on the pill (so pregnancy wasn't an issue), I was still a virgin, and she'd only had sex with 2 men prior - both of whom she keeps in contact with - they both now have new girlfriends, and have not mentioned contracting any STD's, or having any symptoms. Anyway, it being my first time and all, I was really worried about having unprotected sex - so my girlfriend had a chlamydia/gonorrhea test; it came up negative for both, I was very much in love and trusted, so I finally had sex with her without a condom. After having unprotected sex about 3 times, I started to get worried about herpes and syphilis, after finding a lump on my penis... I got it checked out by a doctor, and it was clear... so that was good. Then about a month after having unprotected sex with my GF for the first time, I got a sore throat, that culminated into cold-like symptoms, which lasted about a 5 days. I was worried this could be HIV. The only thing with this was, my brother also caught the cold-symptoms from me - is this a sign that it was a common cold bug, and not an STD attacking my body? Okay, then about a month later, I vomited... the day after, my brother threw up, then my whole family gets cold/flu symptoms - I however don't, and just have a dry cough. Most likely just a bug, right? After vomiting I start worrying that I might have HIV, or something... it's been two and a half months since I've had sex of any sort now, and the only possible symptom I have at the moment, is aching legs (which may be caused by too much running last week)... although I suspect my paranoia is honing in on the slightest of aches/pains and associating them with HIV. Anyway, do these sound like symptoms of HIV? Would they really be as sporadic as I described? First I had the cold, then a month later I vomit/get another cold and 2 weeks later I get aching legs. I've already been tested for syphilis/herpes and my girlfriend was tested for chlamydia/gonorrhea, so I can't have any of them... could these symptoms just be random life bugs that I'm just associating with HIV because I'm crazy? Thanks...

Sweety, CALM DOWN! Relax, breath and certainly do NOT self-diagnose. All your symptoms described seem to match up to a commun flu/cold. Don't jump to the conclusion that you have HIV, you're just going to make yourself worry over something that isn't certain. I can't PROMISE YOU that you didn't contract anything but you need to stop thinking that the worst happened to you because you had unprotected sex ONCE. After two months and a half of NO SEX you can wait until the end of the month and go get a full test done and a blood test. This way you will be certain that you are fine. If you have no visible symptoms up to now, chances are you don't have anything.
Sounds like paranoia to me. Go donate blood. They test that for HIV, so if you come up positive, they'll tell you.
For some reason in males herpes and hpv (which is not hiv) can stay dormaint in the body i dont think hiv can do that but many times people do not know they are contracting it or giving it to anyone. It can take yrs to get symptoms. The best idea is to get std tests every 6-12 months even if u r having protective sex cuz u can gey stds with oral sex to so unless u plan on goung down on a girl useing suran wrap u always have a chance. If u r as parinoid as u sound which i know i am get it done every 6 months for everything not just certian tests
im a doctor, and aching legs are a sign of HIV, so if youre family got sick when you did, they must be drugging you and f*cking you, which is how they got it too. PS; it was CLEARLY a cold... :P
It's probably just a bug that you got from a relative, mate. If it's really bothering you, just go and see your local doctor and they can do some tests. It's most likely paranoia.

just that girl
I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about seven years ago, while I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know a lot of girls will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/UZQam everything got better. Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.
