How to do a line break for a UITextField?

Can a break line be cut and look like it broke?

• So we've been having some strange things happen. We had someone from another state single out our car at my husbands work and take pictures of it and the plates. The police were called, and since then WAY too many strange things have been happening. The one thing I want to ask about is, I was driving my car and parked at the post office went in and did what I needed to do. Came out and turned the car on, put the car in reverse and my break pedal went all the way to the floor. I thought it was me so I drove a little further, and they did the same thing. I had to slowly stop almost a rolling stop. We called the cops again, a tow truck and had my Escape towed to the mechanic. The mechanic took off the break line and said that he thought that it just broke. It was my rear passenger break line. He showed it to me, is it even possible to have a hole in that inner mesh of the break line too? He showed it to me and there was a noticeable crack/cut on the break line, but it was broken through that inner mesh. My question is, is that even possible? I've never heard of the mesh just breaking too. I've heard that it's possible to cut at the break line to make it look like it was just a break. We have to call the cop back on Thursday when he's back on duty and tell him our findings. But I wanted to check to see if our mechanic was right. He just does this stuff out of his small garage at his house, so I'm second guessing his opinion.

  brake lines and hoses eventually rot out and break and then you have a leak. you need to find out which line is leaking and replace it with a new line and bleed the brakes. metal lines can also crack to where it looks like it,s been cut. if it was cut in the first place you would not have had brakes in the first place.
