Walmart first paycheck?

First Walmart paycheck, Hasnt cleared?

  • I started working for Walmart on March 8th and the bi-weekly pay period ended on March 9th at 11:55pm... I signed up for direct deposit on March 9th say around 1:30pm. the woman in HR told all of us new employees we would receive our first check on the 15th for those two days. the 15th came around and nothing. I checked my online paystub online at mywalmart.com and it says TYPE: WSCHK.. what is wschk? and also it has a check number there and everything. It also says the check hasnt been cleared?.. Im confused.. do we get our first paycheck in the mail or should it have been deposited into my bank account? some people said it takes at least two weeks for direct deposit to go into effect. I just want to know when i will receive my money and if its a check or what.

  • Answer:

from what I read, today is 20th, the pay method for ur first payment is via Check, from the last day of pay-period it takes 4-5 days to available for pick-up at 'Customer Service' desk or it should be homewithin next couple days, but I recommend to check with HR to be sure
