How to fix a broken door handle in my car when the door does not open?

    Quite a dilemma....guess thats why they have body shops. You would have to remove the inner door panel enough to access the release rod.

Do you have AAA? Have a tow company open it with a ~slim jim.~ He should be able to grab on to a rod inside and open it. That's what a body shop (or I) will do to change it without ruining the door panel.

you have to get the door panel off so you can reach in there and open the door.
