What are the pros and cons to not having a hood on a car?

  • i have a 99 pontiac grand am se2. only engine mod is a short ram/ cold air intake. engine is as clean as a whistle. other than the obvious reasons of people messing with my engine and precipitation, what are some other pros and cons of driving without a hood? does it help the engine at all or is it just for looks. just stick to pros and cons, no ricer comments about me or my car.

First of every single thing that doesnt belong inside the engine compartment is going to be in there. There arent reay pros to having no hood. Besides doesnt that year have the v6 ram air hood with the"special" vents? Do what u will but drivn without a hood is pretty stupid lol just sayn.
