My best advice for you this (and every) offseason is to eat healthy, and exercise by doing a lot of running every day. Personally, I recommend a calorie intake of 1800-2200, as well as at least one hour of running, per day. If you do these two things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful high school football player.

You need to get your endurance and strength up. But don't go overboard on the weights at your age. Then footwork and agility drills. If you can't move the lower body it doesn't matter how strong or fast you are. Finally find position specific drills. If you are going to play QB find drills for it. Do the same for running back, receiver, line linebacker, defensive back whatever. If you can, find a flag league or something to play in so you can hone your skills. Good luck!

Do your standard aerobic running to increase lung capacity and stamina. Then do muscle strengthening for your legs. Its mostly about lower body strength.

Start by having a balance diet and good sleep. Left weights is a big one doing curls, as well as running and doing push ups.

do the same thing that the varsity players are doing or ask the coaches they know what there doing

As a freshman WR or Corner you being 125 is a little bit light. Eating a lot is not neccesarily the best way to go about gaining weight though. Obviously, you need to eat a lot of protein. When I played football, meat and cheese sandwiches were the main staple of my diet. More importantly, just get to the weight room. Set yourself up on a lifting schedule lifting lower reps of heavy weights - to build more muscle. For example for 2 days a week lift upper body possibly a set of 10 at a lighter weight, 8 at a little more, 6 at a little more, and then do as many as you can of your max. Then two other days do the same with lower body workouts. As for drills, running in general will help a lot, but try also to work on your quick accelaration. One way to do this is to set up 3 cones in 5 yard intervals. Start in the middle and as quickly as you can, run towards one of the cones, touch it, turn around and run to the other cone. Touch it, and run through the middle. This will help you build your acceleration, which is incredibly important for a WR. Hope this helps
