My fave French songs are Voici les Clefs and Cote de Chez Swann. Read the "paroles" on one window and listen to them on YT. Irresistible melodies!

Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, and Michael Buble are all Americans.

Christophe Willem is quite good(I'd recommend songs from his album Prismophonic or something like that), Colonel Reyel is more of a rapper but he speaks quite slowly in some songs so it's useful to learn from. Kate Ryan. Don't know anymore sorry :)

Elle Me Dit (She Told Me) by Mika. Music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkr_29M0_Mg&ob=av2n Mika is an English singer, but I think he just decided to do this one in French. It's a pop kind of song & it's upbeat, even though the song is about his mother not accepting him when he was younger (because he grew up to be an eccentric, bisexual, music artist).
