Need help with The Sims 2 video game for PC?!?

  • i bought The Sims 2 double deluxe (which involves the sims 2 and sims 2 nightlife expansion pack) and a friend of mine lent me the expansion packs (seasons, university, open for business and pets) and i don't know how to play them, they are all installed and everything but when i put in my original Sims 2 CD in my laptop, it says to insert seasons and when i insert seasons it says to insert original, am i only able to play them one at a time (as in am i not able to play the original and it has all the features of seasons pets and university etc....) need help soon as i have to give bak the expansion packs on friday!!!

    You have to play from the most recently released expansion or stuff pack you have installed which is Seasons. You can buy a later one like Free Time, Apartment Life, or Bon Voyage and use one of those to run the game. As for it saying it needs the original when you put Seasons in, it is a bad install. Remove them all and reinstall the base game (Double Deluxe and its additional expansions) first. The installation order of the rest doesn't matter.

Um, I think the problem is that you were lent those. You don't own them, and can't verify them, so they're not going to work. EA is picky like that. Uninstall the stuff you don't own and it should work again.
