How to use "vehement" OR "vehemently" in a sentence?

How to use the phrase "political discourse" in a sentence?

  • I am writing an essay on how personal issues became political issues during the sixties but I don't know how to write the last sentence :S it starts like this: As the youth experimented with new ways, their ideas and needs clashed against the constraints of traditional society. As youths fought for the recognition of their own needs and rights, ...and there I want to say that what was once considered personal became political topic, that the definition of what was considered a political issue was expanded, and im not sure if I should say "political discourse" cause I don;t know how to use it in the sentence...any ideas? :S

  • Answer:

Discourse is, in general, conversation. Whether in spoken or written form, by requiring an exchange of communication. Political discourse is just discussion of a political idea, whether in comparison, contrast, premise or rebuttal.
