What sort of social issue would be good for my research paper...?

• Here's the outline to my paper (i'm just trying to figure out what social issue would be good to choose given the paper instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated: The purpose of this assignment is to develop a research proposal based on a current social or geographic issue that you find interesting. The objective is to practice linking the research question and hypothesis generation stage of research with the selection of an appropriate primary research method, the design of a data collection instrument, and the consideration of ethical issues that may arise based on the type of research proposed. Since this assignment is meant to replicate the process of carrying out research as a student, it must be possible to carry out the primary data collection component of your proposed research project within a six month period, and within a budget that does not exceed $500 (this means no research assistants or funds for personal travel). -Thanks in advance!

  In English, we just did a social issues paper. I chose cosmetic/plastic surgery. We used Sirs.com, so I recommend that website. Make an account then log in and go to Sirs Knowledge Source. It has a ton of social issues to choose from. P.S. $500? Are you rich?
