Can we cure blindness?

Cure to blindness article?

  • I found an article on a man who was cured from blindness by having part of his tooth implanted in his eye. a lens was put in inside the tooth and was put in his eye. They used the tooth so the body's immune system wouldn't reject the lense. That article was from 2009, I was wondering if there was a more recent one from 2011 or 2012. Can you find one? Or another interesting cure to something?
