  • i have a friend who is in 7th grade and she realy wants to skip 8th grade and go to highschool already i cant say she is an A honor roll student but she is willing to pick up her grades in these last weeks before school ends. she wants to know if their is any extra credit work she could do now or in the summer. she wants to know if their are any courses she cant take in the summer that will give her all the credit she needs to skip 8th grade and move on straight to high school

    In order to skip a grade, she needs to be able to show the school she is more than a year ahead of her classmates in every class. Sounds like that's not the case. It's not a matter of just getting straight A's, but that's part of it. Not everyone with straight A's skips a grade.

LOL No. She isn't even on honor roll. people don't skip grades in middles school. Is she taking math at least 2 years above her, is she some English prodigy? probably not. She isn't smart enough.
