Some small scale business idea...please help. ?

  • Hi I am from a very small town in India. I want to open up a small business here but do not have too many funds. Please suggest me some suitable business idea. I have no property of my own. will have to rent one...

    Hi Shweta...if u r planning to opt for a business then u must hav some money to put into it.....business is a risky game so i do not advice u put a large some of money in it.....u can hav ur own business like mlm...amway rmp etc. ...many ppl r earning a v gud amount out of it.... else u can go for a boutique and start it from ur colony only sooner or later u ll start getting customers if u ll do a good job....a parlour for womens is also a good option...for this u require comparitivly less money but some training....if u want to do other kind of small scal busines then soap making ..incense sticks washing powders etc r some other products...and they r cheap too......there is also a loan system by govt pmry pradhan mantri rojgaar yojna which provide loan from 2 to 5 lacks on ur business project...go to ur city's employment office for that....good luck.

Rule #1: don't pursue self-employment with a business where you do not already have significant prior training and experience with the products/services to be offered, the customer base, and the industry. Trying to learn on the job while starting a new business is a guaranteed recipe for failure.

Think of your strengths, your likings, number of people and organisations you know. Think of your educational background and any working experience you may have. Then think of ideas. There are several small businesses which you can do but you must know about yourself first. I am in financial services sector and there are several opportunities in this sector.
