How can I sell from China on Ebay to america and make it worth while?

  • I am a US citizen, I am currently living in China and would like to sell products online. I was thinking ebay, but then i realized if I am selling one product at a time, the shipping prices would make it not worth selling becuase I would have to mark up the prices so high to make a profit, simply because of shipping fees from China to US. I have thought of ways to work around this, such as buy inventory and send it to America, have a partner hold it and ship it from there. That way I wouldnt have to ship individually from China. I am starting to think EBAY is out of the question. I could also do a pre order, and at the end of the month all the people who have ordered from me, i will send it all at once, that would save some money i think. I just need some suggestions on how I can make this work, for some extra cash. Im hoping 1000$ a month. I would rather do this on my own and not have a partner, but if I do have to use someone in the states I would obviously need to be selling more, around 2-3K a month. Also is there a way I could open an ONline store or something? I know there is online facebook stores and such, but hoping for something a bit better. ANy suggestions on this too would be great. Please help! Thanks

    shipping all order with China EMS, they are cheaper than UPS or DHL.

i dont recomend using ebay. they have a reputation for freezing peoples accounts, and keeping whatever money you have deposited with them. you will not get any refunds. they have horrible customer service and make it nearly impossible for you to get in touch with them. if you dont believe me, go to their website right now, try to contact them, and see what happens. @kemperk, it was corrupt u.s politicians who brought the u.s into recesion. wall street was the main driver, driving the u.s economy into the ground. stop trolling
