Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1997 Cadillac Sedan De ville?

  I have 2 98 devilles. I couldn't find mine either. I listenned to the one that works. I FOUND IT! Sitting in the drivers seat is is under the panel just above your left leg. You have to stand on your head and reach up under that panel. There is a clip on the flasher that holds it in place push up on the unit it is somewhat covered by a piece of foam rubber. Hard to see the unit is pointed up with the wires pointing down.It will release off the panel and fall in to your hands. Then separate the connection to the flasher. Reinstall new. The one I bought does not have a clip so It won't be remounted up under the dash. Les in the big sky country!
