Why are my gums itchy when i floss between my teeth?

But I take very good care of my mouth and floss regularly and brush my teeth really good. Why else might my gums be hurting after I floss them?

  • Answer:

Gum pain could be caused by a virus, over-vigorous flossing, or gingivitis. Add a antibacterial mouthwash to your regime.
