What is the difference between a B.S. and B.A. in psychology?

If I would like to pursue a degree in Psychology and likely go to Grad school, would it make a difference if I got a BA or a BS and if so, which would be better to get?

  • Answer:

It depends on what you want to do with psychology. A BA is more for therapy or counseling. A BS is research oriented.
