How to get a license if you move to a different state?

Can you go to a different state just to get a drivers license and then move back to a state with a higher driving age but have a legal license for that state?

  • Answer:

If you got a new residence in the other state, you could get their license, but the first state wouldn't then grant you a license if you moved back. However, you could still use that old driver license for at least 6 months.
