How to Unzip a Compressed Zip File
-
-
Answer:
A zip file contains a file or a set of files that are compressed to save hard drive space. Windows has a built-in zip compression tool that will compress, or zip, files and uncompress, or unzip, files. Most files will not take more than a few seconds to uncompress unless it is a large video file, which will take longer. Difficulty: Easy Instructions Locate the zip file on your computer. Double-click the file. A folder opens up. Click and hold the left-mouse button on the file inside the folder. Drag the file out of the folder. A box appears telling you that the file is being uncompressed. When the box disappears, the file is uncompressed.
