A name for a Grocery?

another name for a grocery store "money counter"?

  • hi there~! I am trying to find another name for this position. at this store, the position is called "money counter" and the money counter counts the cash sales from the day before, consolidates the sales, prepares new trays for the next day, prepares a daily bank deposit and reconciles credit card and atm transactions from the day before. the counter maintains fit currency and rolled coin supply for the market. I am sure there must be another common name for this. It is kind of like being a bank teller. if there is more than one name for this kind of a job, please post that too. looking around online, I don't see "money counter" showing up too often on google... Please ask for any clarification.
