What's the best site for free clip art?

Importing clip art from a web site into Power Point

• I'm working in Power Point and am attempting to download clip art from the site, Barry's Clip Art Service. After the download/save in Pictures or clip art (Microsoft) I open it and the blank box states: "No preview available." I try to open the clips directly in Power Point in all of the conversion options and get the statement,"An error occurred while importing this file." Any suggestions? Is it me, my program, or the site?

  Hello Lorenzen You have not given any details as to how you have saved the image from Barry's Clip Art Server or how you are trying to import the picture into your Powerpoint slide so I will talk you through what I did whilst trying to troubleshoot your answer. 1) Navigate to the picture you wish to use in your slide on Barry's Clip Art Server in your internet browser. I will use this page: http://www.barrysclipart.com/barrysclipart.com/showphoto.php?photo=28081&papass=&sort=1&thecat=154 2) Right click on the picture and choose "Save Picture As". 3) Save the picture on your hard drive somewhere and remember where it is (I chose my desktop). 4) Open Powerpoint and the slide you wish to add the picture to. 5) Click on the slide and then choose Insert -> Picture -> From File on the menu at the top of the Powerpoint screen. Notice I have chosen "From File" and not "From Clip Art". 6) In the window that opens find the file you saved in part 3) above, select it and click Insert. 7) After a few seconds the picture will appear on your screen in the slide. If you right-click on the picture in Powerpoint you can now format the picture as to how you wish it to be. From what you stated in your question it sounds as if the problem has occurred when the file was downloaded. On Barry's Clip Art Server you have a choice of file sizes to download, did the filesize of your picture equal the size that you chose to download? If it did not this would indicate that the picture was corrupted when it was saved.
