I am looking for a list of non UK universities and business schools sending students to the UK to study, or on internships. We wish to target North and South America, China, Japan and Europe. Can anyone help? Tamara Pollock LONDON HOST FAMILIES Gloucester Road London SW7

Hello again tamara-ga, Since leader-ga has not posted an answer even though youve invited him to do so, Ive decided to give you all the information Ive collected. From a quick review of leader-gas list, there is minimal overlap between his list and the schools and resources Ive identified. In addition to giving you a list of schools that have study abroad programs in the UK, Ive also included a variety of directories of schools and programs that should give you lots of additional prospects. There are hundreds of schools and programs linked from these directories as well as lots of additional resources on international study programs. You might be able to develop joint marketing programs with some of these. As I mentioned earlier, I think youd have better luck with sourcing schools from non-US geographic areas if you posted separate questions. Please ask for clarification if any of this is not clear. I wish you success with your marketing efforts. czh =========================== US SCHOOLS WITH UK PROGRAMS =========================== http://www.aifs.org/college/talktoalumni.htm http://www.aifs.org/college/alumniengland.htm#intern American Institute For Foreign Study ***** I collected all the schools represented among alumni and looked up their study abroad Web sites. Last year, over 4,000 students contacted us for counseling services. Although many of our students come to us from the Kanto region (Tokyo and surrounding areas), our name recognition and reputation allows us to recruit students from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Each year, families come from every region of the country to attend our pre-departure orientation sessions. Out of the thousands of students that contact us each year, approximately 350 students will choose to enroll in our comprehensive placement services (250 students into undergraduate/graduate degree programs and another 100 students per year into English language programs). ==================================== STUDY ABROAD DIRECTORIES AND PORTALS ==================================== http://www.mssc.edu/ncie/states.htm State-by-State Listing of International Programs http://www.bacl.ac.uk/programmes.htm The British American College London at Regent's College has been chosen by more than 40 US universities as their study abroad option in London. ***** See list of schools. What institutions are included? The Classification "universe" is defined as all U.S. colleges and universities that are degree-granting and accredited by the U.S. Secretary of Education. Operationally, the universe is defined as those institutions listed in the annual Higher Education Directory, published by Higher Education Publications, Inc. Because the emphasis of the Classification is on functions and student and faculty characteristics, every effort is made to classify distinct campuses separately, even if they are a part of a multi-campus institution. ***** This is a categorized listing of schools available for free download in various formats.
