Weather in Jamaica the month of October?

i am planning to go to jamaica oct 5-9 prices are great, but, i'm worried about this being a rainy month. what is your honest opinion-i don't mind a breif shower or 2, but i would't want rain all day-please advise. also- how do you feel about the holiday inn sunspree?? any adise?

Hi Julie, This is hurricane season and it can rain whenever during October. Chances are it may be a passing shower in the afternoon, but it could be more than that. Just depends. I'm not a fan of the Holiday Inn Sunspree. I stayed there last year for work and was not enthusiastic about the property. VERY basic accommodations, facilities, food, pool. Not a location I would recommend for my clients. There are better hotels. If you need further assistance in finding the right hotel, please feel free to email me.
