  Hello Cindy, After researching for hours I came up with these specs. However please note that nowhere on the web including the manufacturer's web site displays the specs in detail. This is what I suggest: Please connect your DVD player HDMI out to HDMI in on your TV. Connect Optical or Digital Co-axial out of DVD player to your Genesis's Digital in. Then connect your Cable Box's Audio out(RCA CONNECTORS RED AND WHITE) TO Genesis's Aux (RCA CONNECTORS RED AND WHITE)audio in.
