• Hi, I have searched the web on all the major search engines and can not find out if a mosquito can bite more than once?  Living in Thailand where we have a problem with them at night in the bedroom.  thanks

  Hello, John - I can assure you that mosquitoes can bite more than once, as most will lay multiple egg masses (each one requiring a blood meal) if they live long enough - see the last paragraph at http://www.wordsources.info/words-mod-mosquitoesPt2.html Also, a female mosquito that is interrupted before obtaining a full blood meal usually will return (often to a different host) to attempt another feeding.
