Is a basic car alarm hard to install?

Need to install a car alarm

• We have an Acura Integra hatchback (a bit older, with only 30K miles).  It has been broken into about 3 times with damage to the steering wheel.  Our mechanic said they pop the driver's side window out to get in.  Recently, the car was stolen.  But we found it last week, with no damage and nothing missing.  We are lucky we found it, however, we are confident these thieves will be back.  Can you tell me what car alarm you suggest we install?  Seems these thieves are careful not to cause harm to the car, but they can still get in and out pretty easily.  Help!

  Have a look at www.pagingalarm.com. Any of those would trigger a page to let you know YOUR alarm is going off. I would add a starter kill relay and socket and a 2 stage motion sensor on this one to be extra certain that the thief will just move on.
