How do you remove the door panel on a 2001 grand am?

How do you remove the inside door panel on the passenger side second door to replace a broken door handle on a 2001 sienna ce van?

  - Take out the single screw at the center of the door handle trim then use a flat bladed screwdriver or putty knife to pry the trim loose from the rear part of the trim. this is a booger and make take a little effort but it will come loose. A wide blade instrument is probably best to decrease the chance of cracking the plastic. - There is a small plastic round trim piece at the top front part of the door. Pry this off and remove the screw underneath. - Use the same screwdriver or putty knife to pry off the arm rest. Once you lift it off enough, place your fingers in the gap and lift up and toward you to pop the cushion off. There are 2 screws behind this cushion. Remove these - Pry up the trim around the door lock and window button. The buttons should come up with the trim. You can either unplug the wiring harness or just push the trim with buttons through the hole in the door panel. - Grasp the door trim at the bottom and pull up and toward you. This should pop the panel loose then lift it up off the edge of the door at the top edge. - You may need to unplug the wiring harness toward the bottom of the panel to the interior door light in oder to pull the panel free from the door. Just reverse the process to put it all back together. John
