Is there a relation between average water temperature and over?

What does the surface tension of water and the temperature of water have in relation with eachother?

  • Answer:

As temperature increases, surface tension decreases. This is because the water molecules are moving more at a high temperature and therefore aren't maintaining a more rigid form that would be found at lower temperatures.
