What flowers would be in season for an April wedding?

Answer:

April is a great month for flowers. Basically you have all of the "spring" flowers in season. Things like hyacinth, ranunculus, peonies, tulips, viburnum, and hydrangeas just to name a few. When a bride comes in to meet with me, I always ask her what her budget is, to make sure that I can supply her with the best possible flowers that will make the largest statement. Also, we have a local grower that supplies us with great native flowers that cost pennies on the dollar compared to having them shipped in from Holland, New Zealand, South America, etc. If I was you I would check with your local florist and see if they have access to local vendors besides their wholesalers. Although, depending on what part of the world you live in also dictates what's available to you. Good Luck!
