This review is from: NEW Laptop AC Adapter/Power Supply/Charger+US Power Cord for Dell Inspiron (Electronics) Let me be blunt here: This power adapter isn't worth the cost of shipping it, neither is it worth the cost of shipping it back for replacement when it fails or if doesn't work properly in the first place, which it seems likely it won't. If you can get it to work, the charger runs hot to the touch. The wall cord is loose in the charger. The charger's cord is loose in the laptop. If, as I did, you give up on the plug on the end of the power cord and try to solder the power cord directly to the charger pins, you'll find they're plated with something you can't solder to (probably nickel). If, in desperation, you tear the adapter apart to solder the power cord directly to the board, you'll find the cheapest, nastiest piece of circuit board you've ever seen, held into a poorly fitting case with nothing but a dab of some kind of mastic, you'll find components insulated with ordinary adhesive tape (not even proper electrical tape), "heat sinks" held in place only by the leads of the power transistors they're attached to, and you'll find the case in question poorly held together with incomplete ultrasonic welds. This is the cheapest, nastiest, shoddiest piece of electronic trash I've ever seen. Don't waste your money on it.
