They sound EXCELLENT for there price. I have just this set of components supply mid's/high's on top of 3 12" infinity kappa perfect subs running at 1200rms and they keep up excellent! The tweeters CAN be bright if you point them directly at your ears, but just face them more toward the ceiling toward the dome light and it will work out.. These components are being powered by a kenwood 9405 i think it is. Besides the point, there running at 60RMS, and i really cannot get these things to distort before my headunit or amp starts to clip. The bass response is really impressive and the highs are clear as can be, even at very high volumes. The sensitivity of these speakers is very good, i think there 91db. They sound at least twice as loud as the kenwood components i had in before these Infinitys. I consider my self an audiophile because i can hear EVERYTHING when it comes to music in my car,at the end of the day im never %100 satisfied, but for the price, these components are amazing. Cant go wrong!! Unless your looking to spend 600 on a pair of serious drivers. Do be aware tho! These tweeters have a deep mounting depth, so scope out where your going to put them first! I'm using these with an Alpine CDE-124SXM HU and the KTP-445 45W RMS power pak. Plenty of sound with the 93-95 db sensitivity, great mids, a little harsh on the highs but I was able to make adjustments thru the HU to soften it. Seems like country music sounds fantastic on these speakers although I do rock, alt & country (in that order).
