Use a soft cloth to gently slough off dead skin cells that can cause clogged pores and result in pimples. Rinse the skin on your face with warm water and dry with a clean towel. Heat a damp cloth in the microwave and hold the heated cloth on the site of the skin breakout to open pores and loosen oil plugs or pustules. Since the time needed to heat the cloth in the microwave may vary, begin checking the cloth after 30 seconds to see if it's hot to the touch. Keep the cloth on your face for a couple minutes.
