Is there a way to improve the picture quality on my 1280/1280 resolution LCD TV when trying to play old Xbox video games?

Answer:
First, get a good component or vga cable to hook it up. Now the xbox only supports up to 480p, so you'll likely need to change the picture settings on the tv to match. Unfortunatly, many HD tvs don't look too good when doing this, some will not even scale back much at all, and this may be your problem. The xbox (this is the old xbox, right?) only has normal and widescreen mode options in it's menu, it automatically detects the cable that is hooked up in order to run in it's HD mode. Not much, but hope that helps.
