Which Instant Messenger is better, Yahoo or MSN?

Which is the better instant messenger: MSN 7.5, Windows live 8 Beta, or Yahoo Messenger Beta?

    As a general rule, any beta (though it may boast to have more and better function) is best left alone, unless you are comfortable with the odd crash or instability. Betas are a work in progress and are released to the public sort of craftily. Imagine this, you are that software company's crash test dummy and not getting paid to take the bumps and scrapes. Final releases as a rule, are always better, so given the example I'd choose MSN 7.5.

Personally I find google chat serves my needs best, but I don't do any video chat. It allows me to call my friends overseas for free and talk as long as I like, leave messages like an answering service, send voice-mail, etc. Among the ones you asked about, I would recommend MSN for the same reasons as scubabob.

GAIM. Open source equivalent of Trillian which basically lets you connect too all of them at once. Why choose just one? :D Ok, so if you want video chat I like yahoo the best, do file transfers via aim usually, but most my friends are on MSN. But 99% of my time i'm just on GAIM because i don't those things and it does everything but the video chat for me quite well.

among the one that u have listed i find yahoo more user friendly. But i usually like AIM.Features which Yahoo is introducing now, AIM has introduced it long back. Like multiple tabs and buddy sounds and Icons
