What is the best medical school in Canada?

What are the requirements to go to a Medical School in Canada ? Do you have to hold a Bachelor Degree or take 50 something credits of science classes, like in US ? Where are the best Medical Schools in Canada ?

  • Answer:

To enter a school in Canada has almost the same requirements as US but harder. There are less Med schools in Canada and it is mostly funded by Govt (like few private university in US). You would have to take required credits in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Math. Besides, you need to get MCAT score more than 27 points for admission (held by US). The university look in your CV overall performance: academic, arts and culture (music, drama), social (volunteer services in hospitals, homeless shelters etc), good references. The overall GPA in your bachelor's Degree should be at least 3.7 or above. It is easier to get into US med school than Canada, however, tuition fee schedule is comparitively very high in US schools.
