Why was " ask Jeeves "changed to "ask . com" , Was Jeeves concidered a race-ist title? or did the contract run out or copy right expire? What happened to JEEVES ( yes i saw the video, I still would like answers !! )

I think Jeeves is a very English concept originally a novel written by P.G. Wodehouse called Jeeves and Wooster, Jeeves being the butler and Bertie Wooster his scatterbrain employer. When the company went multinational maybe they wanted a name that everyone could identify with.
